Meta’s 1L Diversity Summer Associate Program gives diverse rising 2L students the opportunity to gain substantive legal experience at a law firm and insight into in-house practice at Meta Legal. Summer associates will spend around eight weeks at a law firm and an additional two weeks at Meta. Kilpatrick Townsend will employ the summer associate for the full duration of the program (around ten weeks) and the summer associate is placed at Meta Legal for the last two weeks of the program.

The Meta portion of the program will be remote and summer associates will have the following opportunities:

  • In-house exposure to chosen practice area (e.g., shadowing meetings, deeper dives into discrete legal issues, etc.)
  • Practice area seminars conducted by our in-house counsel that highlight the issues that Meta Legal handles
  • Mentoring by Meta in-house counsel
  • Virtual social and networking opportunities

Meta's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
